It looks like musical talent runs deep in Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s family—and now, the next generation is stepping into the spotlight.
Fifteen-year-old Zuma Rossdale took a bold step into the world of country music this week, making his live debut in a surprise performance that left fans cheering. The special moment happened at Ole Red, Blake Shelton’s popular bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma—making it all the more memorable with his stepdad by his side.

Before Zuma even played a note, Blake introduced him to the crowd, helping adjust the mic and cheering him on with the proudest grin. Dressed like a seasoned country star—cowboy hat, boots, jeans, and guitar in hand—Zuma sat confidently on a stool and performed Zach Bryan’s “Oklahoma Smokeshow.” And he nailed it.
Blake, 48, stood nearby, beaming with pride as he watched Zuma pour his heart into the song. It didn’t take long for fans to start sharing videos on social media.
“Oh my gosh, he’s SO good!” one fan posted on X (formerly Twitter).
“His voice is incredible,” another added, as clips of the performance quickly went viral.
And this isn’t the first time one of Gwen and Gavin’s boys has grabbed the mic. Zuma’s older brother, Kingston, now 18, also made his musical debut at Ole Red last year. He rocked a laid-back look in a Carhartt T-shirt and jeans, confidently performing his own set and wrapping it up with a heartfelt “Love you guys, thank you for being here!”

The three brothers—Kingston, Zuma, and 10-year-old Apollo—are Gwen Stefani’s children from her marriage to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale. The couple parted ways in 2015 after nearly 13 years of marriage. Not long after, Gwen found love again with country superstar Blake Shelton, her fellow coach on The Voice. The couple married in 2021, and Blake has since embraced the role of stepdad with open arms.
In a past interview, Blake shared that helping raise Gwen’s boys gave him “a different kind of self-worth.” From Oklahoma ranch life to casual jam sessions, Shelton’s influence has clearly left a musical mark—especially on Zuma.

As for Rossdale, while country music may not be his go-to genre, he’s all in when it comes to supporting his kids. In a light-hearted interview, he admitted:
“Country music is the last thing I want to hear in my house… But that’s how much I love him. I’ll support him making any music—even the blues.”
Now that Zuma’s had his first taste of the spotlight, one thing’s for sure—this family’s musical journey is far from over. Whether it’s rock, country, or anything in between, the Stefani-Rossdale kids are carving their own path—and they’re already shining.
