The Five host Greg Gutfeld has come under fire after he suggested that conservatives should embrace the word ‘Nazi’

Viewers of Fox News are slamming Greg Gutfeld after the controversial prime-time host proposed that conservatives like himself should reclaim the term “Nazi” in the same manner that Black Americans reappropriated the n-word.
During Tuesday’s broadcast of The Five, Gutfeld floated the concept to his co-hosts as a strategy to dismiss allegations of fascism. “You know what? I’ve said this before: we need to learn from the Blacks,” he declared. “The way they were able to remove the power from the n-word by using it.”
He continued: “It makes more sense to embrace the undesirable label rather than run from it, because the criticism doesn’t matter to us.”
Gutfeld then proceeded with an example of how he would employ the word among fellow conservatives, stating: “So from now on it’s, ‘What up, my Nazi?’ ‘Hey, what up, my Nazi?’ Hey, what’s hanging, my Nazi?’”
Jesse Watters seemed to chuckle along, while co-host Harold Ford Jr. , who is Black, swiftly interjected with multiple uncomfortable “hey”s. Fellow panelist Kennedy then remarked, “Nazi, please!”

“Thank God you did a hard ‘i’ there,” Gutfeld responded jokingly, seeming delighted with the exchange.
The footage rapidly circulated online, leaving viewers stunned and revolted by what aired on television. Numerous people flocked to social media to condemn Gutfeld’s remarks. “If Greg Gutfeld wants to be a Nazi, he should end his career like a Nazi,” one individual posted.
“Greg Gutfeld is an unwatchable racist clown,” one user expressed their disdain. Another added: “So they’re just fully comfortable calling themselves Nazis now. Got it.”

“I did not have Republicans admitting that they are in fact Nazi on my 2025 bingo card,” someone else contributed to the conversation.
The commentary continued with some resorting to dark humor: “When you take a hit from the crack pipe before you talk on Fox News. Which was offered in the break room of Fox News.”
“Siri, show me a conversation that should never take place on television, ever,” joked another individual. A sarcastic comment followed:”Oh wow, Greg. So brave. So edgy. So historically illiterate… Y’all think this is comedy? You’re spitting on the graves of Holocaust victims and mocking centuries of Black suffering for clout.”
Highlighting historical context, one person remarked: “Gutfeld is forgetting that being a Nazi was always a bad thing while being Black never was..
Another person criticized: “Glad they went full mask off and stopped hiding it. The party of Lincoln and Reagan now openly embracing being Nazis. Un-American and treasonous.” One more commenter stated, “This is not reverse psychology. He’s a racist and antisemitic.”
As of yet, there has been no response from either Fox News or Gutfeld regarding the backlash.
