Fox News host Kat Timpf has candidly opened up about her recent breast cancer journey.

Whether through updates on her personal Instagram or announcements on her show Gutfeld!, the 36-year-old has been keeping her fans in the loop when it comes to her health issues.

And her recent birthday tribute to her husband was no different.

On Sunday, Kat shared an Instagram post dedicated to Cameron Friscia that featured the couple holding hands as she lay in a hospital bed.

Both of their faces were obscured from view but followers could see an IV in Kat’s arm with her husband sitting by her side.

In the caption, Kat wrote: ‘Cam has shown me what love is with his actions, by showing the f**k up for me consistently, no matter what unimaginable difficulty life throws our way.

‘I would kill for him, but the rest of you can just wish him a happy birthday.’

It is not clear whether the picture was from a current or previous hospital stay amid the host’s breast cancer journey.

Fans flooded her comments of the post, wishing her husband a happy birthday and commending him for the support he has shown Kat.

The two announced that they were pregnant in July 2024, and Kat gave birth to her first child in February 2025.

She has been open about her unconventional journey to parenthood as she navigated the first few weeks of her son’s life while reeling from the cancer diagnosis.

At the time, she shared a post titled ‘an unconventional birth announcement’ where she detailed the emotional whirlwind of having a child and receiving the life-changing news.

‘I welcomed by first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer,’ she said.

Kat went on to assure her supporters that the cancer was stage zero and her doctors were confident that it hadn’t spread.

‘I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out,’ she continued.

‘By the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cancer out.’

But she has also been forced to defend herself online in recent weeks after trolls urged her to stop speaking about her shock cancer battle.

Set against a black backdrop, the TV personality shared a snapshot to her Instagram story of a comment that read: ‘Sorry Kat, but you are not all that and a bag of chip.

‘I am REALLY HAPPY that you kicked cancer’s butt and that you are a mom. However, using it all the time is getting very old.

‘Other people have gone through the very same thing and are very humble. Don’t be so egocentric.’

Mom-of-one Kat was quick to share her own thoughts on the note, issuing a scathing response that read: ‘PSA: I will likely talk about this for the rest of my life as that is how long it will affect me. Making jokes heals me and I won’t stop doing it.

‘If it offends you that badly, feel free to unfollow me.’

During her most recent break from screens, Kat underwent a procedure is part of her recovery process following a double mastectomy – explaining that her absence would last a couple of weeks.

‘The best case scenario of breast cancer can involve quite a road to feeling whole again, so this is the first step in that,’ she shared.
