Fox News halted its segment to share the expletive-ridden statement the White House released regarding Sydney Sweeney’s controversial American Eagle ad.

Sydney Sweeney jeans ad triggers immediate woke backlash

Fox News aired White House’s expletive-ridden response to Sydney Sweeney’s controversial ad.

During the Wednesday, July 30 segment of the live show, the hosts discussed several topics including Cory Booker’s eruption on the Senate floor and the deadliest mass shooting in New York City since 2000.

Among the pressing topics was the Euphoria actress’ appearance in American Eagle’s latest campaign. On America’s Newsroom, Dana Perino began by noting that the controversy has been unfolding since her return to the show earlier this week. It comes after Sydney’s relationship status was revealed after she was spotted with an A-list actor.

The hosts showed “some liberal media and left-leaning TikTokers slamming the ad,” with one woman seen in a car, saying, “Hey American Eagle, now do black and brown women. Because black and brown women also have great genes that they inherit from their parents. Did you know that?”

Another was shown outside one of the company’s stores, demanding her followers to “Boycott American Eagle. Boycott the s— out of them.”

Someone else said, “A blonde haired, blue-eyed white woman is talking about her genes. Like, that is Nazi propaganda.”

After revealing The New York Times statement on the matter, the news outlet shared the White House’s response.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung wrote on X, “Cancel culture run amok. This warped, moronic, and dense liberal thinking is a big reason why Americans voted the way they did in 2024. They’re tired of this bulls—.”

Adding onto Cheung’s statement, contributor Katie Pavlich weighed in, “The left, and Democrats generally, have just become the side of the political aisle that’s full of miserable scolds who can’t just look at the ad and say, ‘Wow, she’s advertising for a company that decided to take a different turn.’”

She then pointed out that Sweeney’s ad moved American Eagle’s market cap by $400 million yesterday.

She claimed, “For many years, the left has been able to bully companies into doing things that they think feel good for the purpose of woke but actually lose companies a lot of money and set them up for legal problems.

“The people like it and the market likes it too.The money is talking,” she concluded.

Sydney Sweeney nor American Eagle has made a comment on the controversial ad.

Led by Dana and Bill Hemmer, America’s Newsroom airs every weekday on Fox News at 9 a.m. EST.
