The wife of Charlie Kirk shared a haunting post to her X profile just hours before he was assassinated.
In a post to her account Erika Kirk, nee Frantzve, shared a bible reference from Psalm 46:1 saying: ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.’
Kirk, a conservative political activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA was gunned down on Wednesday while speaking at a university event in Utah.
The 31-year-old leaves behind his wife and their two young children, a three-year-old daughter and a 16 month old son.
The couple only celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary in May.
According to social media posts by Kirk, the two had wed in May of 2021 in what she described as a ‘very intimate’ ceremony in Arizona.
The two went without bridesmaids or groomsman, according to Frantzve who also said she did not have a bachelorette party.
A post from February of last year said: ‘If you’re newly engaged and feeling the rush and pressure of preparing for the “big day”.
‘Slow down. It’s one day; yes it marks a new chapter of life. Yes, it symbolizes a special covenant between you, your husband and the Lord.’

The two shared the above post to their Instagram’s after welcoming the birth of their daughter

In a post to her own X account Kirk shared a bible reference from Psalm 46:1, in the hours before her husband was assassinated

She continued: ‘But remember it’s the days afterward that matter more. Reframe your mindset.
‘Don’t stress over the flowers or linens. Weddings turn people crazy and can bring out unnecessary family drama; let it go.’
Frantzve previously claimed the title of Miss Arizona USA in 2012 and in an interview after the pageant win described her upbringing in a tight-knit Catholic family.
She had attended Arizona State University and double majored in political science and international relations.
More recently she has launched her own ministry program, BIBLEin365, which according to her website ‘seeks to help individuals engage with scriptures’.
Her biography reads: ‘Above all, Erika cherishes her role as the wife of Charlie Kirk and the mother of their precious son and daughter.
‘As she continues to grow in her ministry, leadership, and entrepreneurial endeavors, Erika remains committed to inspiring others to live with purpose, rooted in faith, and driven by the love of Christ in every aspect of life.’
Recently, Kirk and Frantzve appeared with their children on Fox and Friends in the weeks prior to the shooting.

Charlie Kirk was seen going limp as he was shot in the neck at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem on Wednesday
Fox News shared a clip of his daughter on the studio floor running towards her late father, who graciously picked her up as she spotted him.
Kirk was shot in the neck as he began a Q&A with students at the event, with footage sweeping social media showing the commentator falling limp as he was struck.
The father of two was rushed to hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
President Donald Trump had confirmed the death of Kirk on Wednesday afternoon in a post to his Truth Social.
He said: ‘The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.
‘He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!’
UVU officials said the shot was fired from the top of the Losee Center, about 200 feet away from where Kirk was sitting.
They initially took an elderly man into custody who turned out not to be the shooter, police said.
Later, a ‘person of interest’ was said to be in custody in connection with Kirk’s shooting, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox announced Wednesday evening.
However, they too were later released, FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed.
‘The subject in custody has been released after an interrogation by law enforcement. Our investigation continues and we will continue to release information in interest of transparency,’ Patel said in a statement.
