Dancing with the Stars fans are gushing over Robert Irwin’s dance moves as they gear up for Season 34’s premiere

Robert Irwin talks 'DWTS,' sister Bindi's advice, and wants this animal on dance floor

Fans of Dancing with the Stars are gushing over Robert Irwin’s dance moves ahead of Season 34’s premiere on Sept. 16.

The 21-year-old Australian wildlife conservationist is set to compete on the upcoming season of the hit ABC dancing competition show with pro dancer Witney Carson.

Before he gets down on the dancefloor, though, the TV personality, who recently admitted his late father Steve Irwin is still very much a part of his life, gave fans a sneak peek of his dance moves.

While playing Truth or Dare with People, Irwin chose a dare after being asked who was the most surprising celebrity who got in contact with him after his Bonds photoshoot, in which she posted shirtless with a snake.

He laughed while saying he heard from a few, but ultimately added that he had to leave that one, only to be dared to show fans a dance move he thinks will get him some points on DWTS.

Robert Irwin“You ready, People?” he asked before he did a wave motion with his arms. “Watch closely. Boom. Tens, thank you.”

People captioned the video with, “Who else is excited to see #RobertIrwin on #DancingwiththeStars after he teased his moves?”

Fans flocked to the comments section to gush about the moves, while others made firm predictions about Irwin’s time on the reality TV series.

One person wrote, “He has the best person on his side. Bindi won and I think he will too.”

Irwin’s sister Bindi and pro Derek Hough, who is now a judge, won Season 21 of DWTS in 2015.

Others simply praised Irwin’s sweet personality, with one person writing, “You are just the cutest! So sweet, so humble, and so kind!”

Another added, “I live for his personality…!” as a third said, “He is adorable.”

A fourth gushed, “I am very happy to see him, he is very similar to his dad, just as cheerful and kind,” as a fifth commended, “He’s so charming.”

Others penned, “He is beyond precious,” and “I Literally like him more every time he speaks. He seems like such a sweetheart!!”

Irwin believes he’s in over his head after joining this year’s Season 34, having started off on the wrong foot during rehearsals last week. He ended up collapsing and hyperventilating.

Now the nerves are getting to him, and he isn’t shy about admitting it. While speaking to People, he revealed just how out of his element he really is by dancing on the show.

“Look, if you think you’re bad at dancing, multiply that by 100!” he said. “I’ve never tried it, I don’t wear sequins, I’m not in this world at all.”

Irwin spends most of his time at his family’s world-famous zoo in Australia. When not working, he’s “surfing, skydiving, skateboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing.”

Despite his discomfort with dancing, he is also getting a kick out of it all.

“So it’s super new, and it’s terrifying, but it’s also awesome. It’s an adrenaline rush. I feel like I live for adrenaline. I’m not really living if I’m not on the edge just a little bit,” he mentioned.

“I was just born to be wild,” he added. The conservationist shared why he is “happy to immerse myself in something new.”

“The very nature of life is fleeting. We don’t know what tomorrow holds, so you have to take calculated risks, you have to have fun, enjoy what you’re doing, and give everything 100 percent,” he explained.

“But you also have to be sensible about it — my family always tries to remind me of that!” He exclaimed.
