Luke Bryan is facing a tough stretch on his current “Country Song Come On Tour,” with things coming to a head during a performance in Orlando on June 19, when he forgot the lyrics to one of his own hits and ended up refunding the entire audience.
“This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life,” Bryan told fans from the stage, according to a TikTok video from the night. “I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason. It happens every time. I don’t know why.”
Though visibly frustrated while performing his hit ‘Strip it Down,’ Bryan kept a positive attitude as he addressed the crowd and thanked them for their loyalty.
“So I don’t give a damn,” he told them. “I’m going to refund everybody their tickets tonight, and we’re going to keep doing the damn show, OK?”
Bryan, 47, went on to explain that he was inspired by fellow country singer Luke Combs, who had once made the same move under similar circumstances.

The American Idol judge’s voice sounded noticeably strained as he continued. “So we’re going to make the most of it,” he said. “Let’s do it.”
Fans reacted with sympathy online, with many blaming seasonal illness and allergies. One viral comment on the TikTok clip pointed to a possible reason for the voice troubles: “Arkansas allergies takin everybody out.”
“You ain’t kidding!!!” someone replied. “I’ve been coughing for 10 days straight,” wrote another.

The following day, Bryan confirmed in a Facebook post that illness was to blame and that two of his weekend shows would be rescheduled.
“Due to illness,” he wrote, “I am rescheduling my shows this weekend in Dallas, Texas, and Lafayette, Louisiana.” The Lafayette show is now set for September 11, and the Dallas date will follow on September 12.
“Please hold on to your tickets — they will be honored for the new dates,” he added. “Thank you for your understanding.”
Despite the setbacks, Bryan has more tour stops ahead, including an August 8 date at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
Tickets are still available via major vendors including StubHub, TicketMaster, VividSeats, and SeatGeek.
