Frankly, keeping up with all the drama that the Love Island: All Stars 2026 cast have been involved in over the past few weeks has felt like a full-time job. Days after Helena Ford confirmed she and Carrington Rodriguez are no longer an item amid rumours he was seeing other women, the American bombshell has finally spoken out on exactly what went down between them.

The pair had quite the rollercoaster ride in the villa after Helena called things off but they rekindled their romance and despite being dumped just before the final, things seemed to be going well in the outside world. According to Carrington, however, he and Helena weren’t ‘committed’.

And although their relationship didn’t work out, Carrington has insisted that he’s still on good terms with the Love Island 2025 OG.

‘Me and Helena are still friends. We haven’t really been talking for two weeks,’ he explained. ‘We weren’t talking or committed. I wasn’t in a relationship, I’ve only been committed to two people and she wasn’t one of them, we were talking.

‘The last time we talked, she said it, I said it, we agreed on it – just moving forward as friends.’

‘Now could things change, yeah, she could not want to be friends and when I’m out there in June, she could not want to kick it, that’s up to her. It was a good conversation,’ Carrington told The Sun.

‘Talked for two weeks on Love Island, went back home for a week, came back talked, about the second week it kind of just fizzled out a bit. Eventually we had that conversation. Not everything is going to work. But that’s okay, that’s life.’

For what it’s worth, Helena – who recently jetted out to LA for Coachella alongside fellow All Star Jess Harding – doesn’t seem to be letting the split get to her.

‘Helena is not letting her split with Carrington keep her down, she always wasn’t 100 per cent sure of his intentions and they were never officially a couple,’ an insider told the publication.

‘She’s keen to put her brief romance with Carrington behind her and she’s ready to have a hot girl summer.’

Meanwhile, Carrington and fellow All Stars bombshell Harrison Solomon were recently forced to clear up rumours they’d been getting to know the same girl post-villa.
