Adam Sandler gave Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, his stamp of approval.

“Me and [wife] Jackie [Sandler] are so happy you and Jim found each other and are having the love affair you two deserve,” Adam, 59, said in a speech at the 2025 ELLE Women in Hollywood event on Monday, November 17, per The Hollywood Reporter. “We love you, Jim. The whole world loves you Jim.”

“I can honestly say Jen is the best in so many ways and one of the most rock-steady human beings I’ve met,” Adam gushed of his frequent costar. “I’ve only seen her angry like two and a half times in the 40 years I’ve hung out with her.”

Aniston brought Curtis, 50, as her date for the occasion. While the couple didn’t pose on the red carpet together, they sat together inside at a table with Jackie, 51, and Adam.

The Morning Show actress and Curtis were first linked in July after the pair were spotted on a trip to Mallorca together. Aniston and the hypnotist were photographed on a boat with pal Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka. Multiple sources told Us Weekly at the time that Aniston and Curtis had been dating for a few months.

“They are being super private but have been spending a lot of time together,” one insider said, while a second source called Curtis “the first guy Jen has been serious with in years.”

Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.

An additional insider told Us that Aniston is “in a good place” right now and “really happy” with Curtis.

“It feels like a healthy, grown-up relationship, [and] her friends think he’s brilliant,” the source added.

Aniston soft-launched her romance with Curtis in September, uploading several photos to Instagram that included a snap of Curtis from behind. Earlier this month, Aniston paid tribute to her boyfriend to celebrate his 50th birthday.

“Happy birthday my love,” Aniston wrote via Instagram in November alongside a black and white photo of her and Curtis sharing a sweet embrace. “Cherished.”

In her November cover story for Elle, Aniston opened up about Curtis and gushed about him and his profession.

“Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does,” Aniston told the outlet. “He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people.”

Aniston added that Curtis is “very special” and “very normal.”

“[He] wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity,” she added. “It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to.”
