Strictly Come Dancing fans were dealt “sad” news by Janette Manrara during It Takes Two on Wednesday evening (December 10).
The host was joined by Strictly semi-finalist Amber Davies and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin as the pair opened up about being in the dance-off during Sunday’s results show. Only four couples now remain in the BBC One competition after another celebrity and their dance partner were eliminated.
Former Emmerdale star Lewis Cope and Katya Jones were in the bottom two pairs following their performance for musical week, alongside reality TV star Amber and Nikita. The judges decided to send Lewis home after he performed a salsa to Dance At The Gym from West Side Story.

Amber, who danced a Charleston to Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat from Guys And Dolls, joins Balvinder Sopal, George Clarke, and Karen Carney in the semi-finals on Saturday.
Janette Manrara opened the latest installment of the Strictly spin-off, It Takes Two, by announcing the series will soon be over, leaving one professional dancer disappointed.
Looking at the camera, she said: “I’m sorry, but I have got some sad news. There are fewer than two weeks of this series left.”
Nikita then appeared on stage with a downcast expression and said, “Oh no, Janette”, before stamping his feet and pointing at the floor.
“Oh, I know, I know, Nikita”, Janette added: “But don’t feel down because we all here at It Takes Two are going to pick you up with a mid-week boost.”

Of the four celebs left in the running for the Glitterball trophy, only two have yet to be in the dance-off: George Clarke and Karen Carney.
However, while it’s George who has led the betting on Strictly winner since week one, many bookies now have ex-England footballer Karen as the new favourite to win,
The remaining four couples will perform during next weekend’s semi-final, airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 18:35pm on Saturday (December 13), with the results show at 19:45pm the following Sunday.
Each couple will perform two new routines, and there will be performances from Australian singer Kylie Minogue and boyband Five.
