JIMMY KIMMEL SPOTS TRUMP’S ‘RAGE-TWEETING’ AND FULL-BLAST WHITE HOUSE MUSIC
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel didn’t hold back Monday night, highlighting just how upset President Donald Trump is amid a brewing political firestorm over Jeffrey Epstein-related files.
During his monologue, Kimmel reported that Trump had spent months pressuring fellow Republicans to block a discharge petition that would compel the release of documents tied to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“Which is exactly what someone who’s totally innocent and has nothing to hide would do,” Kimmel quipped, his signature sarcasm cutting through the tension.
Now that the petition is expected to pass easily in the House, Trump has reportedly shifted his strategy, claiming support for the release of the Epstein-related files. Epstein, once a personal friend of the former president, remains a lightning rod for scrutiny—and now political drama.
The situation has even strained Trump’s relationship with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), previously one of his most loyal allies. In a surprising turn, Trump withdrew his endorsement of Greene and launched an attack on Truth Social, labeling her “Wacky Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown”—a cryptic reference that left many scratching their heads.

“He’s so upset he couldn’t even come up with a decent nickname for her,” Kimmel joked, eliciting laughter from his audience.
Adding to the surreal imagery, Kimmel noted something unusual happening at the White House: music blaring so loudly it could be heard throughout the area.
“Nothing to see there,” Kimmel said. “Just the president alone in the White House blasting Phantom of the Opera at full volume while rage tweeting about how everybody’s out to get him.”
The late-night host explained that the White House recently installed a new speaker system controllable via iPad, which Trump reportedly used to full effect on Friday. In addition to Phantom of the Opera, the playlist included other classics, such as Elton John’s “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me.”

Kimmel couldn’t resist a jab: “The music he’s playing is ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me,’ but don’t read anything into that.” The remark left the audience in stitches, perfectly encapsulating Kimmel’s mix of political commentary and humor.
The segment underscored Trump’s growing frustration as the Epstein files become increasingly unavoidable. Kimmel painted a vivid image of the former president in the White House, headphones on, fingers flying across the iPad, tweeting furiously while the building echoed with theatrical music—a scene that seemed part political drama, part farce.
For viewers, the combination of high-stakes political tension, the unraveling of Trump’s alliances, and his peculiar music choices made for a monologue that was both hilarious and alarming. “You can’t make this stuff up,” Kimmel remarked, as the audience laughed and applauded.
As the discharge petition edges closer to passage and Trump navigates the fallout with his former supporters, Kimmel’s observations offered a rare, candid glimpse into the president’s current state of mind—one punctuated by music, rage tweets, and high drama inside the White House walls.
