Ronan Keating is joining forces with his former Boyzone bandmates and an I’m A Celebrity star for his upcoming New Year’s Eve BBC special, it has been announced.
It was recently announced that the legendary Irish group will be coming together for their first performance together since a five-night run at the London Palladium in 2019. Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch will take to the stage at Emirates Stadium on June 5 and June 6, 2026 for One For The Road: Live At Emirates Stadium London.
According to a description for the show, it will be ‘a night to celebrate and party with legions of Boyzone fans from the world over, a chance to play their biggest ever headline show, and, of course, a time to remember their much-loved brother, Stephen Gately’.
Breaking through in the 1990s, Boyzone have sold over 6.4 million in the UK alone and boast six UK No.1 singles, including When The Going Gets Tough and You Needed Me. The group first broke up in 2000, as their members went on to pursue solo careers, with Ronan experiencing major success as a solo artist.
Ronan’s solo career also topped the charts with singles including When You Say Nothing At All, from the hit film Notting Hill, and Life Is A Rollercoaster. Boyzone reunited in 2007, two years before Stephen’s death of natural causes at the age of 33 on October 1, 2009, at his holiday home in Majorca.
It was previously confirmed that Ronan has been tasked with fronting a 90s-fuelled New Year’s Eve BBC special. Previous editions of the event which airs just before the fireworks on New Year’s Eve have seen the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Rick Astley and Kylie Minogue.

Titled Ronan & Friends: A New Year’s Eve Party, the former One Show presenter will be joined on stage by two former Boyzone bandmates, Keith and Shane, for a special performance. Also joining Ronan is former Eternal singer Louise Redknapp.
The wife of former footballer Jamie Redknapp is behind the hit songs Naked, Arms Around the World and 2 Faced. After this performance, Ronan will welcome singer-songwriter Calum Scott, known for You Are The Reason, to the stage.
The line-up is completed by former EastEnders star Shona McGarty, who is fresh out of the Australian jungle after finishing third place on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity. The Whitney Dean actress fueled romance rumours with Aitch as they struck a close bond on the ITV reality show.
Shona had been focusing on music prior to joining I’m A Celebrity. Back in October, she released her debut music single Unapologetically Me, which she worked on with famed producer Steve Anderson.
The evening will also feature a broadcast of London’s firework display, followed by more performances and celebrations to see in 2026.
Meanwhile, Ronan previously shut down any speculation of Boyzone going on world tour and insisted the band’s London shows is a ‘one-off’. He said at a press event: “This is not a reunion. We’re not making new music, we’re not getting the band back together to tour the world. This is one show – a world exclusive – at the Emirates. If it sells out, maybe it becomes two nights, but that’s it.”
Ronan & Friends: A New Year’s Eve Party will broadcast on December 31 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
