Lando Norris has yet to rule Max Verstappen out of contention for the world title.
“He’ll be a threat—he always is. He’s always there, he’s always fighting, and I’m sure he’ll fight to the end.”
– Lando Norris
The Dutchman completed a stunning comeback last Sunday. After a Q1 exit on Saturday and starting from the pit lane, he crossed the finish line in third place, right behind Kimi Antonelli.
Starting from pole position, Norris secured his seventh victory of the season at Interlagos.
After the race, he emphasised that the Red Bull driver remains a threat on each weekend and did not rule him out in the battle for the world title.
TITLE RACE EXPLODES! 🔥 Lando Norris WARNS “Unstoppable” Max Verstappen Is STILL a Threat After Brazil GP Comeback — ‘He’ll Fight to the End!’ 😱🏁
There’s no denying it — the battle for the 2025 F1 World Championship is heating up like never before! Despite Lando Norris taking a commanding victory at the São Paulo Grand Prix, the McLaren star refuses to rule out his fiercest rival: Max Verstappen.
“He’ll be a threat — he always is,” Norris admitted after the race. “He’s always there, he’s always fighting, and I’m sure he’ll fight to the end.”
The Brit’s words come after an unbelievable comeback from Verstappen, who — after a disastrous qualifying session and a pit-lane start — roared through the pack to finish third, right behind Mercedes prodigy Kimi Antonelli. It was pure Max magic: relentless pace, fearless overtakes, and a statement to the world that the Red Bull ace isn’t done yet.

🏆 NORRIS CONQUERS INTERLAGOS, BUT VERSTAPPEN STEALS THE SHOW
Starting from pole position, Norris delivered a flawless performance to claim his seventh win of the season — but even as he celebrated, his focus remained fixed on the man chasing him down the standings.
“I’m sure he’s going to be a threat in terms of races, and you never know with the championship,” Norris said. “It’s pointless trying to guess and come up with these things. But with how quick he was today — yeah, probably would have won if he started higher up. But that’s racing.”
He continued:
“Not everyone puts it together, and it’s easy to make mistakes in the world that we live in. Again, we maximised this weekend for ourselves, and that’s all we have to do. He’ll be a threat — he always is. He’s always there, he’s always fighting, and I’m sure he’ll fight to the end. So I look forward to it.”
The two rivals shared the podium alongside Antonelli — a symbolic moment that captured the past, present, and future of Formula 1 in one frame. 🏁✨
🔥 TITLE FIGHT STATUS: NORRIS LEADS, BUT THE PRESSURE BUILDS
After dominating in Brazil and taking all 33 points available (race win + fastest lap + sprint victory), Norris now leads the championship by 49 points over Verstappen. But with three rounds still to go, nothing is set in stone.
Here’s how the standings look after São Paulo:
Position
Driver
Team
Points
🥇 P1
Lando Norris (McLaren)
390
🥈 P2
Oscar Piastri (McLaren)
366
🥉 P3
Max Verstappen (Red Bull)
341
While McLaren’s dynamic duo sit comfortably at the top, Verstappen’s relentless drive in Brazil reminded everyone why he’s a three-time world champion. Even from the pit lane, he managed to claw his way back to the podium — a feat few drivers could pull off.
“Never count Max out,” one F1 analyst commented. “If there’s a chance to win, he’ll find it — and make you regret doubting him.”
🗳️ F1 FANS SPEAK — WHO WILL BE CROWNED 2025 WORLD CHAMPION? 🏁
With just three races left, the question on everyone’s mind is simple: Can Norris hold off Verstappen’s late charge? Or will the Dutch master pull off another season-defining comeback?
👉 POLL: Who will win the 2025 Drivers’ Title?
🧡 Lando Norris — McLaren’s golden boy, cool under pressure, chasing his first-ever world crown.
💥 Oscar Piastri — the quiet assassin and Norris’ biggest threat from inside the McLaren garage.
🔴 Max Verstappen — the reigning king, wounded but unbroken, ready to fight until the very last lap.
Cast your vote and join the debate — because the 2025 championship is far from over! 🔥🏎️
DRAMA. SPEED. GLORY.
