At her American Idol season 23 audition, Breanna, a 25-year-old stay-at-home mom from Denton, Texas, received three yes votes from judges Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Carrie Underwood. She then went on to shine week after week until she made it to the finale, during which she placed third behind winner Jamal Roberts and runner-up John Foster. The following day, Breanna’s single, “Higher,” charted at number one on iTunes in the country genre.

In an Instagram post, Breanna announced that she’ll be making her Grand Ole Opry debut on June 5, 2025. Breanna shared a photograph of herself and wrote, “I’m beyond overjoyed to announce that I’ll be performing at the @opry on June 5th, 2025! This moment has been on my bucket list for years, and getting to finally check it off feels surreal. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to step into that circle. Hope to see y’all there!”

Not only does Breanna have a phenomenal voice, but she has a relatable personality that makes her very easy to root for.
