Paige found fame on Love Island 2022

It’s only Tuesday and it’s already been a BIG week for reality telly baby news.

Just a few hours after Big Brother 2025 lovebirds Elsa Rae and Marcus John announced they were expecting their first child together, Love Island 2022 star Paige Thorne confirmed that she’s expecting her first baba with boyfriend, Drew Wedlake – and the mum-to-be is GLOWING.

Paige dropped the news on Instagram on Monday 30 March with an adorable beach video of the couple embracing while holding up their baby scan (major rom-com x Emma Roberts acting coy on a windy beach energy) and we are beaming for her here at heat Towers.

She captioned the post, ‘Half of me & half of you 👶🤍 You are already loved infinitely, baby Wedlake due September ♾️.’

Naturally, Paige’s comments section quickly turned into a mini Love Island reunion. Her Love Island bestie Dami Hope – the same Love Island hunk we all insisted she had a spark with before she met Drew – came through with the sweetest message, writing, ‘Can’t wait to be the best Unc ❤️❤️.’ No, YOU’RE crying.

Also popping up with the love was Paige’s Love Island 2022 co-star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who wrote, ‘Omg congratulations 🥹❤️,’ while Chyna Mills commented, ‘Aww congratulations 🥹💗💗.’

For anyone needing a quick refresher on Paige and Drew’s timeline, Paige went Instagram official with her new man back in July 2025. At the time, she told followers, ‘I’m not usually one to share what goes on in my private life but I couldn’t be happier, can’t wait to make so many more memories with u 🤍🪽.’ Translation: yes, she was keeping it private, but no, she couldn’t resist a hard launch.

The couple then took things a step further with their red carpet debut in October 2025.

Paige, of course, has had her fair share of headline-making love stories over the years – and if you watched Love Island 2022, you’ll know the girl didn’t exactly get an easy ride in the romance department.

The OG went into the villa all sweetness and smiles and quickly became one of the season’s most-loved girlies… but her love life? A rollercoaster with no lap bar. Paige coupled up with Jacques O’Neill and for a while it looked like she’d found her person. Then Casa Amor happened and the vibes shifted hard. Jacques’ flirty behaviour and choices caused chaos. In the end, Jacques left the villa, and Paige was left in tears.

Enter Adam Collard (again). The OG bombshell strolled back into the villa a human plot twist, ready to cause carnage. He immediately set his sights on Paige and the vibes were on fire within a matter of days.

The two ended up coupling up, made it all the way to the final, and left the villa together. But post-show reality hit, the relationship didn’t last. Remember ‘nugget gate’? What a time.
