Whoopi Goldberg’s got Tim Allen’s back (well, cheek)!

The TV personality, 69, informed the actor, 72, of a minor makeup mishap during his guest appearance to promote season 2 of his ABC comedy Shifting Gears on The View, on Monday, Sept. 30.

About halfway through the segment, Goldberg alerted Allen that he had lipstick on his right cheek, admitting that she became aware of the stain in the moment and how she, herself, is the one to blame for it.

“I just realized. I was thinking, ‘What’s is that…’ ” she told him on the show, pointing to her face while trying to come up with the words to tell him about the stain. “It’s me. You have a streak of lipstick on the side of your face.”

Goldberg, her co-hosts and the audience burst into laughter. Allen, not so much.

“What the!” he said jokingly, exclaiming, “Well, you just tell me that now?”

Goldberg’s co-host Ana Navarro said she “couldn’t figure out what it was” while sitting beside him at the table during their conversation for the segment.

“I didn’t realize if it was the jacket rubbing off on you or—” said Navarro, who took a tissue to Allen’s face in an attempt to wipe the makeup off, while Allen said, “Why didn’t you say something to me!”

Goldberg chimed in, “I just did!”

“But now it’s half over though,” Allen lightheartedly argued, joking, “All of America thinks I got leprosy or something!”
