The mother and daughter duo wore the same hat in a heartwarming image

Meghan Markle shared a sweet photo of herself carrying Princess Lilibet, showing the pair enjoying a matching moment.

Reposted on her Instagram story from an initial post on the As Ever official page, Meghan’s lifestyle brand, the slightly out-of-focus image showed Lilibet wearing a flowy white dress and a straw sun hat that matched the Duchess of Sussex’s.

Meghan, 44, carried a wicker basket with her hair pulled back in a ponytail, as the mother-and-daughter duo enjoyed the warm weather.

This is not the first time that the little princess copied her mother’s outfit.

In May 2025, the duchess shared a video of the pair both donning beekeeper suits as they harvested honey together.

In the caption of the footage, Meghan wrote: “Harvesting honey with my little honey. Like mother, like daughter.”

The image released by the 44-year-old came as part of a collage of photographs, which also featured Prince Harry and a series of As Ever products.

The collection was captioned with the month of January as Meghan welcomed in the New Year.

The post included a small three-word statement reading: “January: Reset & Rituals.”

The image of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed the couple laughing while holding hands in a field.

Other pictures included a series of As Ever products, showcasing one of the brand’s candles.

Meghan’s calligraphy was also visible, as the duchess left a “good morning” message.

The Duchess of Sussex recently shared her New Year’s plans through her As Ever newsletter, which featured surprisingly understated plans for closing out 2025 with Harry.

Meghan offered subscribers a subtle glimpse into the couple’s New Year’s Eve celebrations.

In a message bearing the title “pop the bubbly”, she described an intimate evening involving champagne and her own $15 (£11.15) Flower Sprinkles product in place of traditional confetti.

Meghan wrote: “When the clock strikes midnight, we’ll be celebrating right along with you.

“Glasses raised, bottles of bubbly popping, and confetti in the air – only in our case, it’s Flower Sprinkles falling instead.”

The edible petals are marketed on her website as colourful alternatives to paper confetti.

The duchess conveyed her heartfelt wishes to her readers, hoping they would experience “good company, memorable nights, and plenty of reasons to celebrate” in the year ahead.

Meghan ended her festive message with a charming British touch, signing off with “Cheers, dears!”
