In the devastating aftermath of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock’s assassination on December 16, 2025, the mother of his three young sons has opened up about the unbearable pain tearing through her family.

She described the agony of watching her children — still so young and innocent — grapple with fear, confusion, and endless sleepless nights. They keep asking the questions no parent should ever have to hear: “Where is Dad?” and “When is he coming back?” The sight of his photo or an old video clip triggers panic and tears they can’t control.

The grieving mother shared how she’s struggling to find words to help them understand why their loving, devoted dad was taken so suddenly in a targeted shooting in Johannesburg’s CBD. “I don’t know how to explain this to them…” she said, her voice breaking — highlighting the cruel, lasting emotional scars violence leaves on children who should only know safety and joy.
