Released on the platform this past Friday (20th February), it has already received strong reactions from fans who have been hooked by its unique premise.

Directed by David Victori, Firebreak is an intense psychological thriller about a family facing insurmountable odds and an impossible moral dilemma.

When a young girl goes missing in the forest surrounding their home, her mother Mara (played by Belén Cuesta) races against time to find her before she becomes devoured by a raging fire.

As her search becomes increasingly desperate, there are sinister hints that the inferno may not have simply been a natural disaster.

“Some very annoying characters, but understandable because these types of people exist in real life, and real life people are sometimes worse than fiction. It will make you keep engaged emotionally and even sometimes make you feel enraged.”
