Dramatic home security footage has captured the moment a car full of young partygoers flipped half a dozen times, sending the vehicle flying in the air.

The Toyota HiLux came to a rest in the front yard of a home in Seaford, in Adelaide’s south, about 4am on Sunday.

The vision shows the vehicle sitting motionless for 20 seconds, before the driver emerges, appearing relatively unscathed before checking on his passengers.

Two passengers managed to get out through a back door, but one person in the front had to be freed from the wreckage.

Remarkably, all occupants escaped with just minor injuries.

“It could have been a lot worse. They’ve only just missed the stobie (electricity) pole,” Home owner Kerry Smart told 7NEWS.

“You just think, yeah, what could have happened? I was just worried someone’s been killed,” nearby resident Stephanie Roberts told 7NEWS

The 21-year-old driver from Modbury Heights told witnesses he lost control of the vehicle after hitting a median strip.

The group in the car had been returning to an Airbnb after attending a nearby party.

Police confirmed the driver and his three passengers, a 21-year-old Salisbury Park man, a 22-year-old Dernancourt woman and a 20-year-old Hope Valley woman, only sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver had blood taken at the hospital, which will be analysed to determine if drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
