Meghan Markle has offered an incredibly rare peek at Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet together in an adorable Easter update.

While the rest of the Royal Family congregated in Windsor on Sunday morning for an Easter service, things looked rather different for the Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan shared a collection of videos on Instagram capturing her day feeding their chickens, collecting eggs, watching Archie and Lilibet dash around on an Easter egg hunt with their dogs in tow, Lilibet dressed in a pink frock and clutching a large stuffed bunny toy while sporting bunny ears, and Archie busy decorating his own egg.

“Happy Easter!” she wrote in the caption. Prince Harry was absent from the footage.

The Duke of Sussex is due to return to the UK this summer to participate in events connected to his patronages and personal causes.

Harry is expected to attend the one-year countdown event to the Invictus Games, which is due to take place in Birmingham in 2027, and will also be carrying out an engagement linked to the WellChild charity, of which he has been a patron since 2007.

Recent reports suggested the Duke is keen to bring his wife and their two children over for some “family time” in England, but only if adequate security arrangements are provided.

However, a source has claimed Harry is hopeful of receiving an invitation from the King to visit Sandringham. The Sussexes faced a security downgrade after stepping back from the Royal Family six years ago. However, a source close to Harry told The Times: “If he [Harry] was invited by the King, he would get a security package that automatically kicks in.

“He’d like an invite to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend on who was there. If the King were to say, ‘Come up and spend some time with the family,’ he’d love that. He always loves seeing his father and would love to see him as much as possible.”

This comes as Ravec, the Home Office’s Royal and VIP Executive Committee, carries out a fresh risk assessment of the Duke of Sussex.

The assessment is yet to be completed.
