It came after his rocker father’s sad passing this summer
I’M A Celebrity star Jack Osbourne had revealed camp life helped him manage his grief following the passing of his father Ozzy.
The Black Sabbath singer died aged 76, at home with wife Sharon, 73, and his kids by his side, back in July.

Shortly after, reality TV star Jack signed up for I’m A Celeb’s official 2025 line up – with fellow telly stars such as Alison Hammond suggesting him starring on the show was too soon after his huge family loss.
Jack also broke down in tears as he spoke for the first time on I’m a Celebrity about his dad Ozzy’s sudden death earlier in the series.
Following his eviction from the ITV programme on Friday – which saw Jack and Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley given the boot at the same time – he spoke out on how the show had proved helpful to his state of mind.
I’m A Celeb anchor Dec Donnelly, who arrived in camp to break the news alongside co-host Ant McPartlin, said: “Obviously you’ve had a difficult few months, you had an emotional time in there as well, was it really nice to have the support of your campmates going through that?”
Jack then said: “It was, it was really nice to unplug, just to have that space with no distraction from the outside world and to just be in nature.
“It’s hard in camp but also basic living.”
Jack admitted he was surprised he bonded so well with his co-stars, saying: “I went in with this blind and just went with the experience.”
OPENING UP
Earlier in the series, Jack opened up to campmate Lisa about his loss.
He told the soap star: “It was definitely a shock, I mean we knew he was sick for a while but it was definitely a shock, I mean we didn’t know it would be that quick…”
He added: “It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, alright I’m done.”
Jack then got teary, as Lisa comforted him – reflecting on his legend status and the impact he had.
Speaking about what Ozzy would think of him doing the show, he said: “He’d be so supportive of this.”
Jack later shared in the Bush Telegraph: “I’m still navigating it all, it’s been three nearly four months and so it’s still pretty fresh.”
Ozzy’s passing in July came just weeks after the Black Sabbath star took to the stage one final time with his band mates at Villa Park in Birmingham.
The chart star died at home in his stunning mansion in Welders, Buckinghamshire “surrounded by love”.
Sharon, his wife of 43 years and mum to their children Aimee, Jack and Kelly, was by his side.
A statement from his family said at the time: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.
“Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
Ozzy became known as the “Prince of Darkness” in his six-decade career thanks to his on-stage antics that attracted a legion of heavy rock fans.
He last graced the stage this July when he reunited with his bandmates Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward and played a five-song set in a farewell to music.
The gig was touted as “the greatest heavy metal show ever,” with Ozzy grinning to chanting fans as he thanked them for all they had done for him.
The icon vowed, however, that it would be his final performance due to his deteriorating health, having opened up about his battle with Parkinson’s in 2020.
After the show he watched on as daughter Kelly was proposed to by her boyfriend Sid Wilson.
