Victim Ismail had told Uddin before the horror that he wanted to end the relationship after discovering the killer had been cheating.
CCTV showed Uddin in the hours that followed stalking his ex-partner around Birmingham city centre and repeatedly visiting his workplace.
Ismail was last seen on August 17 riding Uddinâs scooter to his home where he was strangled then stabbed multiple times even after he was killed.
After the murder, Uddin fled Birmingham and caught a train to Milton Keynes where he had family.
He was then captured calmly getting his eyebrows threaded and his hair cut.
Ismailâs body was discovered three days after the horror â with police launching a manhunt for Uddin.
He was arrested the next day but pretended to be shocked when told his partner was dead.
Bodycam showed him asking an officer: âDid you say murdered? Theyâre saying my partner got murdered, bro.â

Investigators found Ismailâs blood on Uddinâs phone, while the knife used in the murder had been washed and put back in its drawer at his home.
Uddin was found guilty of murder after a trial at Birmingham Crown Court and was jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum of 21 years.
Detective Sergeant Jeanette Roberts, West Midlands Police Homicide Unit, said: âIsmailâs was life was taken by a coercive, controlling and manipulative partner.
âEnraged that Ismail had found the strength to take back his independence and end the relationship, he manoeuvred Ismail to his death.
âUddinâs thoughts have only ever been for himself. He fled the scene and had no intention of facing the consequences of his actions.
âHe has shown no remorse for his actions, or for the pain he has inflicted on Ismailâs family and loved ones.
âBy his own agreement in court, he was a toxic narcissist who had to have it all his way.â
