EXCLUSIVE: Harry is getting closer and closer to a royal reconciliation, which may come with a job offer, it’s being said.
Prince Harry and King Charles are working toward a royal reconciliation, and if all goes well, it may see Harry resume some of his royal duties, says one expert.
According to Kristen Meinzer, an award-winning podcaster and culture critic, Harry didn’t want to completely surrender his senior royal duties, that was never the plan, and that he would consider making a return to the UK, at least, on a part-time basis.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Express US, Meinzer went over the then and now, what led to Harry’s resignation and what we can expect moving forward.
Meinzer said: “Harry has repeatedly said that it was never his intention to completely surrender his senior royal duties.”
She added: “In a perfect world, he and Meghan would have been able to do what Edward and Sophie did early on in their marriage – pursue their own passions while also serving the crown.”
Harry is getting closer and closer to a royal reconciliation
Harry and Meghan have built a life in the US, where they live with their two children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, but at the same time, it’s being said, Harry is ready to go home, in which we asked Meinzer about.
She said: “I think Harry would love to return to the UK, at least part-time. He wants to spend time with his UK friends and family. He wants his wife and children to know and love his homeland.”
She added: “That’s why he’s been trying so hard to reinstate the security that Charles took away. He wants to spend time there, but he wants to do so safely.”
Prior to moving to the US, Harry and Meghan lived in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, England. They had to turn in the keys because they were no longer senior working members of the Royal Family, but it’s being said, Charles has been holding Frogmore Cottage for their return.
Harry’s been living abroad for five years, and it’s being suggested that Charles has been waiting for him to come home this entire time and by keeping Frogmore vacant he’s sending a “silent invite” to Harry.
We asked Meinzer about this theory with her saying: “Considering they renovated Frogmore Cottage to their specifications, paid for all the renovations out of their own pockets, and signed a multi-year lease on the property, I think it’s safe to say that it was always their hope to make the Cottage their UK home.”
She added: “Of course, we know that Charles terminated that lease, with the plan of putting Andrew there, but he’s never followed through on that plan. So I do hope it would someday be Harry and Meghan’s, should they want it.”
