Meghan Markle is saying sorry after crashing a TikTok “party.”
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, shared the lighthearted apology to her personal Instagram page in a March 20 post about her night out at the Alliance for Children’s Rights 34th Annual Champions for Children event the day prior.
Meghan presented her close friend Kelly McKee Zajfen with the Francis M. Wheat Community Service Award at the Beverly Hills event, and her recap video included a spontaneous moment when she stumbled upon some women filming a TikTok video in the bathroom.
“Proud to honor my forever friend @_heartmom_ for her outstanding work for @allianceforchildrensrights and @allianceofmoms,” Meghan wrote below her Instagram video, which was set to the song “Ladies Room” by Olivia Dean.
“Kelly, you are one of one,” she said, as the footage showed her and her pal holding hands, posing for photos and entering the ballroom together.
“Such a special evening + kudos to the gals in the ladies room doing a tik tok video (!) Sorry we crashed your party, but it was too good not to share ❤️,” her caption continued, as the camera cut to the fun moment.
The video showed Meghan shaking hands with two women in a lounge, before the frame cut to one woman dancing as the other woman filmed it on a phone. The Duchess of Sussex looked impressed as she watched on from the side, and they all shared a laugh when it wrapped.
Meghan does not have a public TikTok, but she went viral with the “Baby Momma Dance” video she posted to Instagram in June 2025, which featured throwback footage of her and Prince Harry dancing at the hospital just before their daughter Princess Lilibet, now 4, was born.

The video then flashed to Meghan speaking on stage during the gathering at the Beverly Wilshire, plus footage of McKee Zajfen, 45, watching from the wings, and the Duchess of Sussex presenting her with the award.
The friends then walked off stage together and shared a hug, in the final peek behind the scenes of the girls’ night out.

McKee Zajfen is a Board Member of the Alliance for Children’s Rights and co-founder of the Alliance of Moms, a membership group of the Alliance for Children’s Rights. The Alliance for Children’s Rights endeavors to protect the rights of vulnerable children in Los Angeles County, while the Alliance of Moms supports pregnant and parenting youth in the Los Angeles foster care system, and McKee Zajfen was celebrated for her dedication.
Speaking to Hello! magazine at the Champions for Children function, the honoree said it meant much to have her friend Meghan there.
“Meghan is one of my best friends, and I’m honored that she said yes [to presenting] and that she’s been along this journey with me as well. She supports the Alliance, and she’s been doing this for a few years now,” McKee Zajfen said. “She not only shows up for my family, but it’s a real privilege to be able to watch her mother too, and so it means a lot for her to be a part of this,” she added.
Meghan and Prince Harry are parents to Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, and the couple has supported the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in recent years along with their charitable organization, Archewell Philanthropies.

The tennis tournament honors Georgie Zajfen, the late son of Kelly and her husband Julian, who died at age 9 in 2022 of COVID-19 and viral meningitis.
The Zajfens are also parents to Georgie’s twin sister, Lily, 13, and the family is expanding with a baby boy this spring, with Kelly hinting on Instagram that the baby is due soon.
