It’s the first look into a Sussex family Halloween in four years.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spent Halloween like any other parents—trick-or-treating with their kids. The couple were spotted making the rounds in around Santa Barbara with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. In images obtained by TMZ, the family can be seen wearing adorable matching costumes for their day out, with Markle dressed as a butterfly, Archie as an ant, and Lilibet as a firefly. Harry opted to go sans costume and wore a cap and polo top.

The last time the public was privy to how the Sussexes celebrated Halloween was back in 2021, when Meghan appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show not long after the autumnal holiday. That year would have marked Lilibet’s very first Halloween and would only have been Archie’s second, and, as Meghan put it, “We wanted to do something fun for the kids, and then the kids were just not into it at all!”

“Archie was a dinosaur for maybe five minutes,” Meghan continued, while DeGeneres interjected that his costume lasted “not even five minutes.”

“Finally Harry talked him into putting the head on,” DeGeneres added. “But Lili was a skunk.”

“She was a little skunk!” Meghan replied, adding that her then-newborn daughter was dressed up like “Flower from Bambi.”
