Jennifer Aniston and her hypnotist boyfriend just came so close to going red carpet official. The actress attended the premiere of The Morning Show season 4 on September 9 in New York—meanwhile her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, was pictured arriving at the venue separately after skipping the carpet. According to the Daily Mail, the pair arrived in the same car and Curtis hung back as Aniston left to walk the carpet solo.

Aniston wore a chic slinky LBD for the occasion. The strapless dress featured a radial ruched pattern at the center and pooled around her ankles. She wore her hair down and straight in a Rachel Green-approved look.

Curtis may not have been pictured with Aniston, but he did coordinate with his date, wearing an all-black ensemble consisting of black pants, black patent shoes, and a simple black sweater.

Their not-quite-red carpet debut comes after the pair were spotted enjoying a date night in the city on the weekend—in photos obtained by Page Six, the pair wore coordinated casual looks.

This weekend, Aniston also took to Instagram to share her first photo of Curtis—hidden inside a summer roundup, the photo featured a sunset along with the back of Curtis’s head.

The pair have been linked since July when fans began to think they were dating. Since then, the relationship has been confirmed by People. They are “casually dating and having fun,” according to a source.

Although they’ve kept things low-key, they have been spotted on a number of dates and trips this summer. In August, they enjoyed dinner with Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka. A few weeks later, they had another double date, this time with Courtney Cox and her partner Johnny McDaid. Curtis was also spotted supporting Aniston from the sidelines at an event for her haircare line.

According to a source who recently spoke to People, the relationship “feels different” for Aniston in comparison to her previous partners. “Jim’s great. Her close friends love him,” the source added. “He’s amazing to be around. He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it.”
