A GRIEVING dad has begged a judge to shield his children’s final moments from the public as their mother goes on trial for their murders.
Patrick Clancy is fighting to stop his anguished 911 call and graphic photos of his three children from being broadcast, published or shared.

The heartbreaking request was filed as jury selection neared its end at Plymouth Superior Court in Massachusetts ahead of Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial.
Patrick’s lawyer, David E. Meier, asked Judge William Sullivan to restrict access to the most distressing evidence in the case.
The motion covers pictures of Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan taken while they were alive.
It also seeks to protect crime scene and autopsy images, photographs of their clothing and the recording of Patrick’s frantic emergency call.

Meier wrote that the “potential harmful and everlasting emotional impact” of the material being publicly released “is immeasurable.”
He argued its spread would also dishonor the dignity and memories of the three children.
Patrick wants the evidence limited to the judge, jurors, lawyers and essential court staff.
The plea would not stop prosecutors from showing the material to the jury deciding Lindsay’s fate.

Sullivan has already ruled that jurors may hear Patrick’s 911 call and see photos of the children, including images from the crime scene and their autopsies.
Patrick made the call after returning to the family’s Duxbury home with takeout on January 24, 2023.
The recording captured the devastated father as he discovered his children unresponsive in the basement.
“She killed the kids!” Patrick can be heard shouting during the call, according to prosecutors.
Cora and Dawson were pronounced dead shortly after they were found, while Callan died in the hospital days later.
Lindsay is accused of strangling each child using a separate exercise band while Patrick was away from the house.
She then allegedly cut herself and jumped from a second-story window in a suicide attempt.
The former labor and delivery nurse survived but was left paralyzed and now uses a wheelchair.
She has pleaded not guilty to three murder charges.
Prosecutors argue the killings were carefully planned rather than carried out during a sudden mental breakdown.
They claim Lindsay sent Patrick to collect food from a restaurant the family did not normally use, giving her time alone with the children.
She also allegedly checked Apple Maps to calculate how long he would be gone.
The state is expected to use the 911 call and the condition in which the children were found to argue Lindsay acted deliberately and with “extreme atrocity and cruelty.”
Defense attorney Kevin Reddington does not dispute that Lindsay killed Cora, Dawson and Callan.
But he will argue that she was not criminally responsible because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis.
The rare and severe condition can cause hallucinations, delusions and a loss of contact with reality following childbirth.
Former prosecutor Mark Eiglarsh told NewsNation that the state will likely focus on Lindsay waiting until Patrick left before attacking the children.
He said prosecutors could also argue that her suicide attempt showed she understood what she had done was wrong.
Patrick is expected to testify for the defense after publicly saying that he forgives Lindsay.
He has also filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the healthcare providers who treated her before the killings.
The lawsuit alleges Lindsay was prescribed nine different medications in the months before the children died — eight of them during one three-week period.
Judge Sullivan is seeking a panel of 18 people, with six ultimately serving as alternates.
Seventeen had been selected by Thursday morning after one juror withdrew, saying he could not emotionally handle the case.

Opening statements are expected to begin Friday once the final seat is filled.
The closely watched trial is expected to last between six and eight weeks and is being prosecuted by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
