Katie Price has always had her mother Amy Price in her corner — but Amy has never hidden her disapproval of her daughter’s first husband, Peter Andre.

In her 2023 memoir The Last Word, Amy recalled warning Katie before she even entered the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle back in 2004. “Whatever you do, do not end up with him,” she told her daughter, convinced that Peter was not what he seemed.

Amy later branded the Mysterious Girl singer “toxic,” accusing him of using his romance with Katie to revive a fading career. “From the word go, something didn’t feel right about Peter; I had an inkling he wasn’t who he claimed to be,” she wrote, adding that he “walked away once he was back on his feet.”

The couple’s fairytale romance in Australia led to a wedding two years later and two children, Junior and Princess. But by 2009, the marriage was over, and the fallout between the pair — and their families — has only grown uglier over time.

Just last week, Peter issued a furious public statement, declaring: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, but that ends today.” Meanwhile, Katie’s ex Alex Reid stoked further drama by leaking a video showing the bankrupt star counting piles of cash, with Katie shockingly telling daughter Princess that Peter’s children with wife Emily were “irrelevant.”

Amy, however, insists her loyalty remains with her daughter and her grandchildren, wishing that Princess and Junior would “find their own way in life” and even urging them to distance themselves from Peter’s management team, The Can Group. “My greatest wish for my grandchildren is for them to forge their own path,” Amy stressed.

As the feud rages on, Amy’s damning verdict on her former son-in-law only fuels speculation that the Price-Andre family war is far from over.
