A CONTROVERSIAL Married at First Sight bride is engaged after her boyfriend popped the question following months of dating.

The E4 show star, who previously accused the matchmaking series of “ruining” her life, told how she was “excited” at her bride-to-be status as she gave a flash of her engagement ring.

Olivia Frazer, 32, has been dubbed one of MAFS’ biggest hell raisers after she shot to fame on the Australian version in 2022.

The Aussie wed Jackson Lonnie, but was dubbed the season villain after sharing a nude snap of fellow bride Domenica Calarco among the cast.

This led to her losing her job as a driving instructor and receiving death threats.

Yet theres hopefully a happy chapter ahead, after Olivia’s new man Greg Rutherford, 31, popped the question over the festive period.

She took to her Instagram grid for her reveal, posting a snap of the pair as she offered the first look at her ring.

In her caption, she wrote: “You could say we are excited.”

The TV star looked stunning in a white bandeau dress and her new cropped brunette hairstyle for the celebratory image.

She held her left hand up to the camera while Greg flashed a huge smile, giving her a cuddle from behind.

He is a former professional footballer who now works as a personal trainer.

According to MailOnline the pair met in September, with their hard launch on Instagram coming a month later.

Olivia told the publication: “He proposed in a private garden at Newton Hall in the North East of England.

“Both Greg, myself and our families are over the moon.”

SHOW STRUGGLES

Previously, reality TV star Olivia said she was “more hated than Putin” after taking part in the social experiment, seeing her marry a stranger on the programme.

She lost how she then lost her job as a “direct result” of her taking part, and her involvement in circulating naked photos of another contestant.

The TV star admitted that many fans have demanded she face criminal charges for the act, leaving her “more hated than Putin in Australia”.

Speaking on 2Day’s Hughes, Ed and Erin – Olivia opened up about how the viewer backlash left her feeling like “a shell of a person”.

“I’ve already lost my job as a direct result of this show,” she explained, as the hosts continued to quiz her on whether she regretted it.

“I don’t as I’ve got some beautiful girlfriends from it,” she added.

As well as losing her job, Olivia said she scaled down her social media presence after fans of the show set up a petition against her.

The online petition demanded that legal action be taken against her for sharing the nude photos without consent.

Olivia faced backlash on the show, as husband Jackson was forced to defend her after she admitted she was a “petty b***h” to her new pals.

Following the show, the plumber has continued to stand by Olivia in a number of interviews, claiming she got a “bad edit”.

He recently explained: “If you look at our whole story, they haven’t filmed us doing anything nice… They’ve changed it all to not look good for poor old Liv.”

Olivia added on her radio appearance that she wouldn’t have “survived” the show without the support from him.

The couple agreed to stay together after their final vows, yet split when they returned back to the real world.
