Prince Harry made another secret visit during his four days back in the UK earlier this month. The Duke of Sussex visited photographer Misan Harriman’s exhibition in London, in a trip that went unnoticed by the media. The Nigerian-born British photographer has been very close to Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, and has captured many special photos of her family, including her pregnancy announcement in 2021 and Princess Lilibet’s first birthday portrait in 2022. Mr Harriman welcomed the Duke to his exhibition in London, called the Purpose of Light, at Hope 93 in Fitzrovia.

Harry can be seen admiring his and Meghan’s friend’s work while being given a tour around the premises alongside the founder of the art gallery, Aki Abiola.

Even though the images are in black and white, the Duke’s outfit appears to be similar to the one he wore on September 9 when he visited Nottingham at around midday.

The photos shared by the photographer are accompanied by the caption: “Thank you for visiting my exhibition, Prince Harry. It was wonderful to show you my work and discuss the incredible space Aki has created for artists in the gallery. Art is important, especially now.”

Mr Harriman has even appeared in Harry and Meghan’s bombshell docuseries on Netflix, where he said of his work: “My images of them do all the talking.”

He added: “Portraiture for me, whether it is royalty or whether I’m in the tip of the spear in any of the civil rights movements that I care deeply about, is looking for truth.

“That’s fundamentally what my lens is there, to capture the human condition in full fidelity.

“Whether it’s beautiful children and the great love and fortitude of this couple, or whether it is when the world decided to refuse to look away from what happened to George Floyd, whether it’s climate action, the gay and trans community is hugely important for me — my lens is always at their disposal, always will be.”
