Sharon Osbourne once confessed to making a significant error regarding her husband, Ozzy Osbourne.
The Black Sabbath legend tragically died last week aged 76 and his family gathered yesterday for a funeral procession in Birmingham, England. Sharon was accompanied by the three children she had with Ozzy – Jack, Aimee, and Kelly.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Sharon wept as Jack and Kelly comforted her. Fans noticed that Sharon wore Ozzy’s wedding ring on a necklace, prompting one person to comment on X, “Sharon Osbourne wearing Ozzy’s wedding ring on a chain around her neck at his funeral is absolutely heartbreaking.”
“sharon osbourne wearing ozzy’s wedding ring in a chain around her neck while mourning him we love you shaz,” another person wrote, while a third remarked, “I can’t. I just can’t. I thought I was ok but when I saw Ozzy’s wedding ring on Sharon’s chain I broke down.
“My heart completely broke for Sharon and the family this morning. We lost a music icon, they lost a husband, father, papa and brother. Sharon is wearing Ozzy’s wedding ring around her neck,” a fourth fan shared.

After Ozzy’s funeral procession, old interviews resurfaced online, including one where Sharon discussed her regrets. In an appearance on The Magnificent Others podcast with Billy Corgan earlier this year, Sharon opened up about Ozzy’s career and her role in it.
She confessed that he might have pursued acting if she hadn’t intervened. The host inquired, “Do you want to know the biggest mistake I ever made with Ozzy?”

Sharon responded, “He got offered to go and read for Pirates of the Caribbean – and I’ve never said this to anyone.”
Billy was taken aback and asked, “And you said no?”
“I said no,” Sharon confessed before posing the question, “Wouldn’t he have been perfect?”
Sharon had previously shared her first impressions of Ozzy before they became a couple.
“I saw that spark that he had. It was electric. Ozzy would walk into a room, and everybody would look at him,” she reminisced during an interview with Music Business Worldwide.
Sharon added, “In two minutes, he had everybody laughing on the floor. He was a very charismatic young man. I just believed in it.”
