Karoline was ridiculed on South Park after being portrayed as President Donald Trump’s nagging assistant, who was seen constantly wearing the large cross necklace

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was observed once more abandoning her signature cross necklace following mockery on South Park.
On Thursday, Aug. 14, the 27-year-old spokesperson was photographed walking into the West Wing of the White House after wrapping up multiple television appearances. In the photos, Karoline was dressed in a blue denim-toned knee-length outfit featuring a glittering collar.
Karoline completed the polished summer ensemble with a set of delicate pearl earrings and was conspicuously seen without her customary cross necklace. This decision follows her depiction on the cartoon comedy South Park wearing the oversized cross as she faced ridicule alongside President Donald Trump.
In the Season 27 episode, Karoline was shown as Trump’s persistent aide while she implored the president to take a call and speak to his frustrated supporters.

In the segment, her character disrupted the president’s outdoor gathering to inquire, “Mr. President, a lot of your supporters are starting to turn against you.”
Irritated by the disturbance, he responds, “Hey, tell them to take a rest.” To which Karoline urged, “Sir, can you please talk to them? They’re really riled up.”
After answering the phone, Trump declared, “Hey, relax god.” On the other end of the line, someone stated, “Yeah, hi. Uh, what do you think you’re doing? Our children are being told that they have to sit with Jesus at lunchtime.”
Trump retorted, “Listen, buddy. You just need to relax. All this protesting makes me look bad. Just take a rest.”
Karoline’s decision to forgo her cross necklace, which some believed she wore to appeal to conservative supporters, has not gone unnoticed. With the piece absent from her recent ensembles, one fashion expert has called it a “calculated” move.

She told The Mirror, “When Karoline chooses not to wear it, that absence can speak just as loudly. For a woman whose style communicates with such precision, removing a personal signature suggests evolution or at the very least, a pivot. Maybe she’s redefining her relationship with that symbol, or maybe she’s deliberately inviting a little space between who she was and who she’s becoming.”
Fashion is ever-changing, and no one knows this better than Karoline. Choosing not to wear the necklace doesn’t erase its significance, but rather alters the message.
Perhaps she doesn’t want to be seen as predictable or have it recognized as her “trademark,” as was parodied in a South Park episode about Trump and his administration, or perhaps she’s consciously revamping her wardrobe and style.
