John Foster is keeping busy with his music career after finishing in second place on Season 23 of American Idol in May, and he has girlfriend Brooklyn Bourque by his side amid his newfound fame.
The Louisiana native is in Nashville for CMA Fest this week, and Bourque joined him in Music City for the special occasion. She posted a sweet photo of them on her Instagram Story to commemorate the trip.
Bourque captioned the sweet selfie with a red heart emoji, as well as Foster’s Instagram tag. She also tagged the location as Music Row in Nashville. John performed with fellow American Idol alum on June 4 and will be hitting the stage for his first performance at the iconic Grand Ole Opry on June 7.

Foster and Bourque started dating in May 2024 and recently celebrated their one-year anniversary, which the country singer celebrated on Instagram. “It’s been an amazing year and you’ve been beside me every step of the way,” he gushed. “Happy 1 year anniversary. I love you so much.”
The couple met in high school, and Bourque was by Foster’s side amid his American Idol journey. In addition to showing up in the crowd at several of the live shows, she also traveled to Hawaii with him for his Top 24 performance earlier this year.
