Scott McCristal was left devastated after Gia Fleur fled the experiment on Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight.

The 33-year-old businessman and his notoriously fiery bride were filmed arguing in the street over Gia’s decision to head home just two days ahead of Final Vows.

And to make matters worse for Scott, he had to perform the final task alone, which consisted of reviewing footage of Monday’s ‘grass is greener’ challenge.

Scott responded with an expletive-filled slam of Gia as he watched a video of his bride flirting with her ‘alternate’ match, James.

‘That is f***ing putrid, that is f***ed, that is disgusting,’ he said after watching Gia ask James about how much money he made.

‘That is actually embarrassing,’ an angry Scott said and added, ‘[She said] she would date him on the outside.

‘She wanted to leave because she didn’t want me to see what she did at the final test,’ a crushed Scott said.

Earlier, the 35-year-old mother-of-one was seen convincing Scott to return to Melbourne with her so she could be reunited with her family, telling him, ‘For us right now, we need to get the f*** out.’

But after her groom changed his mind and elected to stay in the experiment, Gia accused Scott of wanting to stay for the ‘camera time’ – leading to their very public meltdown.

‘The show is more important [to you]… you never cared for me,’ she claimed, leaving Scott alone in the street as she escaped in a waiting Uber.

After claiming that they had ‘broken up’, Gia contacted Scott one more time via phone, in which she tried to pressure him to leave the experiment.

Once he returned to their apartment, Scott found Gia’s wedding ring on a bench.

He then turned to his final task, leading Scott to speculate on camera over why Gia was so anxious to leave the show.

‘She literally just lied to my face,’ a tearful Scott said in his confessional.

He continued, ‘Why did she want to leave so bad? She wanted to leave because she didn’t want me to see what she did on the final test.’

Scott then revealed he was about to pay for a new house for Gia and her family, as well as financing her relocation.

‘I was about to give my whole life to her and her daughter,’ he said, breaking down.

‘I’m done… she is a complete manipulator, hypocrite, she just f**ed me over, and I paid for everything in this experiment.

‘I just got f***ed for three months, she just used me. She used my money and my life; she just broke my heart completely.’

Breaking down into tears, Scott then declared, ‘She just used me – I’m never gonna let this happen again.’
