Love Island’s Shakira Khan Hits Back At Celebrity MasterChef Judge Giorgio After Shock Kitchen Disaster
SHE’S swapped the villa for the kitchen but Shakira Khan’s cooking skills have already landed her in hot water.
The Love Island star suffered a brutal verdict from Celebrity MasterChef judge Giorgio Locatell, who branded her rice a “disaster”.

The reality star prepared a dish inspired by one of her dad’s recipe, but even she described the result as “diabolical”.
Shakira’s signature dish was her dad’s chicken curry served with mixed-spice-infused brown rice.
Initially, the judges had mixed feelings about the 23 year old’s creation, with new judge Giorgio complimenting its flavour.
He said: “The chicken is a little bit dry. It should be a bit more melt-in-the-mouth.

“The combination of spices, I really, really like. It’s very, very nice.
“The two sauces are very elegantly presented. I love it.”
However, his review quickly took a turn when he moved on to the rice.
Giorgio cut into the cake-like mound as a visibly mortified Shakira awaited his verdict.

“The rice is a disaster,” he said.
Shakira replied: “I actually thought I undercooked it!”
However, fellow judge Grace Dent offered a more positive assessment, declaring the curry the perfect tribute to Shakira’s dad.
She said: “You walked into this kitchen representing Papa Khan and I’ve got to tell you, I think this curry is delicious. Let’s forget about the rice.”
“I agree!” Shakira replied.
The Islander later admitted she does not usually make rice from scratch.
She said: “Usually when I make rice, it’s like stabby packets from the supermarket, in the microwave, and Bob’s your uncle.”
It comes after Shakira faced a fierce backlash over her new role hosting Love Island’s official podcast, The Debrief.
The former Islander was accused of having a “vendetta” against this year’s contestant Jasmine Muller after repeatedly criticising her behaviour while appearing to defend the villa’s boys.
