Carol Kirkwood returned to the BBC Breakfast studio to front the latest weather news following a busy few days at the Chelsea Flower Show.

BBC Breakfast’s weather presenter Carol Kirkwood has been inundated with compliments about her latest look seen on the show this morning. To front the latest segment, Carol, 61, stunned in a silky blue blouse tucked into a long black skirt which complimented her physique.
Adding to her glamorous look, the presenter wore her bright blonde hair in flicked curls and opted for neatly placed make-up. Over on Instagram, Carol was all smiles as she posed for a picture in her latest attire and in certainly caught fans’ attention.
In view of her 63,000 followers, she captioned the post simply writing: “Good morning,” alongside love heart emojis and kisses. Many of her fans flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts as one wrote: “Good morning lovely pic Carol.”
A second said they “loved” the BBC star’s outfit, while a third typed: “Crackin’ look CK! Shame about the weather though.”(sic) Another typed: “Good morning Carol your smile has brightened up a dark grey morning. Looking fabulous as always.”
Delivering the not-so-good news about the weather on the show today, Carol revealed that heavy rain will be “persistent” in some parts of the UK, much to viewers’ dismay. She went on to say: “If you don’t have the rain it’s going to be fairly cloudy for you with some showers.”

In more welcomed news however, the weather expert said that while it will be cooler and cloudier for many in the next few days, the temperatures should pick up in time for the bank holiday weekend.
Pleased about the latter part of the announcement, host Sally Nugent said: “So it is getting better?”, to which Carol confirmed.
The BBC regular returned to the studio today following a busy few days at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Earlier this week, Carol linked up with Sally and Jon Kay from the floral event held in London.
As the presenters expressed their dislike of the wet weather, Carol said: “It’s pouring buckets. If only I could make it stop.”
In what she hoped would’ve been a broadcast in warmer conditions, the weather star was instead left fronting the segment in a green coat as she braved the cold.
Conditions changed following a sunny day across England which saw Carol embrace the heat in a figure-hugging white dress.

Last month, Carol wore a pink blouse similar to today’s look, which she matched with a pink high-waisted skirt.
