Stephen Tyrone Colbert had the honor of being on the cover of the 30th annual Men of the Year issue for GQ, and it had the internet saying, “I can’t handle his sexiness” and “raw, next question.”

So, when GQ’s 30th annual Men of the Year party took place at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont on Nov. 13, it made all the sense for Stephen to show up and show out on the red carpet.

Stephen was co-hosting the event alongside Sydney Sweeney, Seth Rogen, Oscar Isaac, SZA, Clipse, and Hailey Bieber.
Following the event’s “90s Hollywood Red Carpet” theme, Stephen opted for an understated look with a black leather bomber jacket, a striped shirt, and a polka-dot tie.

Talking to E! News, Evie shared that she “likes this kind of new image,” to which Stephen quipped that she called it his “I don’t give a fuck era.”

“That’s what I said to the kids,” she said. “I said, ‘Your father’s officially entered his I don’t give a fuck stage of life.’”

“I tried. I tried giving a fuck. They didn’t want it anymore,” Stephen added, possibly referencing The Late Show‘s upcoming end in 2026.

In the interview for GQ’s Man of the Year issue, Stephen seems to be taking the cancellation in stride. “Listen, every show’s got to end at some time,” he said “And I’ve been on a bunch of shows that have ended sometimes by our lights and sometimes by the decision of other people. That’s just the nature of show business. You can’t worry about that. You got to be a big boy about that. But I think we’re the first number one show to ever get canceled.”
