LOVE Island star Leanne Amaning has revealed why she’s not bombshell material and how being promised OG status was what made her agree to All Stars.

Leanne came third in the recent All Stars series alongside her new boyfriend Scott van-der-Sluis but show bosses at  ITV had to sweeten the pot to ensure she’d appear on the show at all.

Leanne first competed on season six of Love Island and had been lined up to do All Stars last year as a bombshell, but quit while she was waiting in South Africa to enter the villa.

She flew back to the UK without ever being on the show, but when show bosses promised her she’d be in the original (OG) line-up she didn’t hesitate.

“I knew I was going to be an OG, because I was in holding last year, they were [show bosses] like, ‘We’re not going to do you dirty’,” Leanne explained during an appearance on the Not My Bagg podcast.

“So if I knew I was going to do All Stars I’d be an OG, because I don’t feel I give bombshell… stealing men is not really a bit of me.”

The Islander also explained on the podcast she “felt a bit more confident to do” All Stars with the guarantee she’d be an OG.

Last year, Leanne broke the news of her leaving South Africa on TikTok, telling her followers at the time: “The more the show went on the less sense it made for me to go in there.”

Leanne didn’t take the decision to leave to South Africa lightly.

She admitted it “took so much persuading for me to give it a go and be open.”

But it seems holding off for a year was worth the wait because Leanne has now found love with Scott after coupling up during the most recent series of All Stars.

Scott has told they’ve taken a major step in their relationship by admitting their feelings for one another.

Speaking on Love Island star Tyrique Hyde‘s Twitch live stream, Tyrique said: “I’ll be honest with you, I’ve never seen you like this.

“I wasn’t buying it but you know what I’m starting to buy it a bit.”

Scott shouted: “It’s cool to be in love… I was sat at home last week. I was working out just how strong I feel.

“I came back down to London and we were in bed cuddling and I thought, ‘I love her’.

“But she fell asleep on me so it was the first thing I said in the morning and she said it straight back.”

Scott continued: “It’s a mad feeling.

“I thought I had a black heart and now I’m sitting here like a little lover boy.”
