Prince Harry was noticeably absent from series two of Netflix’s With Love, Meghan. The 40-year-old made a brief appearance during the first series, but, this series, only appeared via photographs shown by Meghan Markle in the show.

The second series aired on Netflix yesterday, with all eight episodes now available to watch on the streaming service. As well as sharing pictures of her husband, after revealing that she takes photographs of her family – including her two children – on trips, Meghan also showed a blue personalised baseball cap that she got for Harry for his 40th birthday last year.

A royal expert has now explained how Harry’s absence poses a cryptic answer to what the future holds for the couple.

 Deputy Royal Editor Jennifer Newton said: “The division of Harry and Meghan’s careers has been ongoing for a long while now, with sources close to the Sussexes previously saying Meghan’s work priorities are her As Ever business, while Harry concentrates on his charity work and philanthropy.

“And Harry’s non-appearance in the latest season of the show is the biggest sign yet that this will not change in the future.”

As well as pictures and showing off her birthday gift for Harry, Meghan also revealed that Harry was the one who said ‘I love you’ in their relationship.

Meghan also recalled that it was “third date”, where the couple had spent some time in Botswana, where she knew she was in love with Harry.
