The trailer for Beauty in Black season 2 reveals the show’s release date, teasing what comes next after some major cliffhangers. Netflix has unveiled the teaser trailer for Beauty in Black season 2, which reveals that new episodes will premiere on Thursday, September 11. The trailer also teases the fallout from the previous installment, in which Kimmie (Williams) makes a decision that alters the trajectory of the entire series. Kimmie Is Finally On The Upswing

A lot happens in the very busy Beauty in Black season 1 ending, but the biggest shift has to be that Kimmie agrees to marry Horace (Ricco Ross). She does this to keep his children from taking away his money. It also represents a significant shift for Kimmie herself, though, especially since she hasn’t always had the most stable relationship with Horace.

At one point, during the first season, he has a gun pointed at her. She has to nervously explain her true motives and the tense moment subsides. But it could just be a matter of time before that turbulent history rears its head in Beauty in Black season 2, complicating their arrangement.

The trailer highlights that, for the time being at least, Horace is willing to teach Kimmie what he knows. Horace’s family, for their part, are willing to play nice and go along with the new reality to varying degrees. But it’s safe to say that the new status quo won’t hold, considering the volatile elements involved.

Part of the excitement of a soap opera is that nothing stays the same for too long. Beauty in Black season 2 could look completely different by the time it ends.
