Rylan Clark has revealed that he and Rob Rinder have seen each other naked, but the pair joked that a romance between them would “feel like incest”.

The TV stars have been at the centre of relationship rumours thanks to their close friendship and the bond they displayed during their escapades in Italy on their BBC travel show, Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour.

Rylan, 36, has now addressed the gossip in an interview with Radio Times, explaining: “Everyone thinks we’re together because we’re doing this show and we show each other affection.”

He added: “I think people still presume that two gay guys who get on must be together; that two gay men can’t just be mates.”

This Morning star Rylan also quipped that while he and Rob are close, a romance between the pair wouldn’t work out.

“I love him,” he said of his co-star. “But if we were in a relationship I’d be in prison because I would have smothered him with a pillow by now. That’s what marriage is, isn’t it? Row all the time and don’t have sex.”

“Rob’s seen me naked, I’ve seen Rob naked, that’s how close we are,” he added. “But nothing’s gone in anything.” “No way!” said Rob.

The pair teamed up last year for Grand Tour, which saw them taking in the sights as they travelled around Italy.

The series went down a storm with viewers and is returning for another run, with Rylan and Rob, 47, heading to India this time.

The BBC recently teased the show on Instagram, writing: “Following their Bafta-winning Grand Tour of Italy, Rob Rinder and Rylan are taking things to the next level and heading out of art galleries and into the teeming streets of one of the world’s oldest and greatest civilisations: India.

“But can the art and culture of India help them to lead better lives?
