Karoline Leavitt seemed to sidestep a reporter’s question about Donald Trump’s health during Tuesday’s White House press briefing.

“You guys announced the president was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after his legs were swelling… How is he being treated for that? And, while you were upfront about those health issues, curious if the White House would let us speak with his physician directly about those health issues,” the reporter asked Leavitt.

“It is certainly something we can look into and explore out of the effort of transparency, because unlike the previous White House, there is nothing to hide. You guys see this president working around the clock, literally 24/7, all of the time, and I will be happy to look into that request.”

When pressed for an “update” on his treatment for swollen hands and legs, Leavitt refused to provide specifics.

“He’s moving, he’s working, he’s continuing- there have been no adjustments made to his lifestyle.”

This comes after Leavitt disclosed that President Trump’s noticeable health issues result from “chronic venous insufficiency,” based on an evaluation performed by the White House physician, reported the Mirror US.

Americans nationwide have observed various irregularities in the president’s physical condition lately, noting evident skin conditions and swollen ankles.

“I know that many in the media have been speculating about bruising on the president’s hand and also swelling in the president’s legs,” Leavitt explained.

“In the effort of transparency, the president wanted me to share a note from his physician … all results were within normal limits.”

Leavitt clarified that the bruising and swelling stemmed from President Trump’s daily duties at the White House.

The marks on his hands were reportedly caused by constant handshaking with guests and international officials.

As for the swollen ankles, the White House physician attributes them to the president’s elderly age of 79.

The current president is allegedly dealing with chronic venous insufficiency, a medical issue that occurs when veins struggle to pump blood from the legs back to the heart.

This problem is typically caused by a malfunctioning valve operation.
