After more than a decade of marriage, Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, are just as in love as ever!
“Mike’s been so supportive of Carrie over the years,” a source tells Star of the couple, who celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on Thursday, July 10. “There have been hiccups, to be sure, but they’ve managed to iron them out.”
“Carrie feels like the luckiest woman in the world,” the source shared.
The source added that the country star, 42, and the retired NHL player, 45 — who live on a 400-acre farm in Franklin, Tennessee with their sons Isaiah, 10, and Jacob, 6 — keep family as their focus.

“When Carrie’s home, she’s not a star, she’s a wife and mother. To her boys, she’s just Mom. Her family’s needs are her priority, even though her music is a huge love in her life, too,” the source explained. “Carrie and Mike are just a couple of homebodies. They love their family life and are devoted to their two boys. Mike is pretty much a stay-at-home dad.”
However, when the “All-American Girl” hitmaker needs to be on the road, she stays in frequent communication with Fisher and her little ones.
“Carrie misses them so much when she’s traveling. She can’t wait to get home to the farm,” the source noted. “She’s so busy and her touring schedule can get hectic, so it’s a balancing act, but they’ve found their groove.”

The source continued, “When she’s on the road, Mike will often take the boys to where she is for family time. The rest of the time they FaceTime and Zoom so Carrie stays in the loop. She likes to be able to say goodnight and good morning to her family. That’s how Carrie and Mike stay in sync. They’re in constant contact.”

The American Idol judge met Fisher in 2008 at a meet-and-greet event after one of her concerts. They tied the knot in July 2010.
In May 2023, Underwood appeared on The Howard Stern Show and recalled her first official date — which ended up being on New Year’s Eve — with the former Nashville Predators player.
“He moved very slow, and I was like, you know New Year’s Eve is coming up. Are you doing anything? He’s like, ‘There’s a team party.’ I said, ‘Do you need a date?’” recalled Underwood, who went on to confirm that they shared their first kiss at midnight.
