INDYCAR has experienced its latest mishap in a sensational turn of events in Arlington, Texas.
Practice was halted on Saturday due to catering workers walking across the track – adding to Mick Schumacher’s whirlwind start to the sport.

The television broadcast showed the trio of workers who appeared to be part of a catering crew.
One of them was pushing a catering cart.
The exact reason for the staff’s incursion is unknown however it seems that they were just seeking a short cut.
And used the track to do so despite practice having started.
They were spotted in between the Dallas Cowboys stadium and a nearby hospitality area.
Luckily for the trespassers, the cars practicing for Sunday’s race had not reached top speed by the time the track breach was spotted.
The red flag was waved and a delay of several minutes followed.
This adds to the chaos of Schumacher’s eventful introduction to IndyCar.
The former Haas Formula 1 driver has embarked on a new chapter in the Indycar series, signing with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.
Schumacher’s debut race lasted just four corners on March 1.
The son of seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher was out of the race early on after a crash in front of him.
He was driven to the medical centre following the incident.
While not as dramatic – the latest mishap on the IndyCar circuit has made Schumacher Jr’s opening weeks even more of a shambles.
