Kerry Washington is returning to DC, 10 years after Scandal.

Upcoming Netflix thriller An Innocent Girl already has some big names in Kerry Washington and James Marsden, but now it’s added another recognisable face as production gears up to commence at the end of March.

Deadline reports that actor Colman Domingo is joining Washington, Marsden and fellow previously-confirmed cast member Chloe East.

His exact role hasn’t been revealed, but we do know the plot synopsis: “An Innocent Girl follows a young and ambitious woman who is seduced by a high-powered DC couple. She’s soon drawn into a dangerous world of sex, power, and murder.”

Carry-On‘s Jaume Collet-Serra serves as director, while The Voyeurs‘ Michael Mohan and the Arrowverse’s Marc Guggenheim penned the script.

Washington isn’t just acting in the project, but is also one of the executive producers.

Domingo had a pretty big 2025, appearing in The Running Man remake and Wicked: For Good.

And in 2026, he’ll be popping up in the long-awaited third season of Euphoria and the return of the surprise Netflix hit, Four Seasons.

On the big screen, he’ll be a part of Steven Spielberg’s newest film Disclosure Day, and will be playing Michael Jackson’s dad Joe in the upcoming biopic Michael.

Following on from her appearance in Netflix’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, Washington will soon be seen in Apple TV’s Imperfect Women, which she again executive produces.

Meanwhile, Marsden has reprised his role of Scott Summers/Cyclops for the upcoming mega-crossover Avengers: Doomsday. It’s the first time he’s played the character, who he first played all the way back in the year 2000, since a brief cameo in 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.

An Innocent Girl will be coming to Netflix, but does not currently have a release date.
