10-year-old fan Emerie wowed the crowd singing “Thank God” with Kane Brown at Grand Casino Hinckley.

Kane Brown shared a special moment with a 10-year-old fan named Emerie Brown during his concert at the Grand Casino Hinckley Amphitheatre in Hinckley, Minnesota.
The country superstar was in the middle of his headlining set when he spotted the young fan holding a hot pink sign that read, “Can I sing ‘Thank God’?,” referring to the duet he shares with his wife, Katelyn Brown. Since Katelyn wasn’t at the show, Brown invited Emerie on stage to sing with him, and she stole the show.
“Are you gonna sing the crap out of this song? You gonna to sing the song really good? This is your stage!” Brown said, before walking with the young fan to center stage.
“I was lost/ You found a way to bring me back/ Needed forgiveness/ You always gave me that/ Girl, I’m a witness of your love/ ‘Cause you don’t be giving up/ And it’s crazy/ How you saved me/ Hand on the Bible/ Don’t know how I got you/ But I couldn’t ask for more/ Girl, what we got’s worth thanking God for,” Brown sang on the first chorus before he and Emerie joined forces on the chorus.

Donning a fuchsia pink shirt that read “Kane’s Biggest Fan” and white shorts, Emerie confidently took on Katelyn Brown’s verse of the song, not missing a beat. She had the crowd in awe as she belted out the lyrics, nailing the vocal runs and harmonies. Kane Brown was visibly impressed by how well she knew every word to the Different Man track.
“Never thought I’d find an angel undercover/ Who made a change to everything/ From my heart to my last name/ Hey, hard to tell/ When he fell/ That boy was Heaven sent/ And every night/ When I close my eyes/ Before I say amen,” Emerie sang, taking on lead vocal for her part.
Brown and Emerie, both of whom were all smiles, harmonized together just like he would with his wife for the rest of the song. It was a moment Emerie, who is an aspiring singer herself and big Kane Brown fan, will surely never forget.
“Give it up for her man, She did everything… You killed it!” Brown said, as the pair shared a hug and took selfies together. Emerie took a bow before exited the stage.
Following the show, Emerie reflected on the dream come true moment and how it came to fruition during an interview with KATE 11 News.
“We kind of had to sneak the sign in, because there were no signs allowed,” Emerie, who attended the concert with her grandma and cousin, told the outlet. “Then I got lifted up by his security. And the second I knew, I was on stage.”
Emerie’s mom, Miranda Fann, was not at the concert to watch the memorable moment in person, however, she did get to see her daughter sing with Kane Brown via a FaceTime call.
“Her cousin started calling me and said, ‘I need you to answer right now, Emerie is about to perform with Kane Brown.’ My jaw was to the floor. She’s been dreaming about it for years, and she literally had a dream the night before that she was going to do it,” Fann explained.

Co-written by Josh Hoge, Jaxson Free, Kyle Fishman, Christian Davis, and Jared Mullins and produced Kane Brown and Dan Huff, “Thank God” is the fourth single from Brown’s third studio album, Different Man, released in September of 2022.
“So me and Kate have been trying to release a song for like five years now,” Brown previously explained of the duet at the time of its release. “And we kept getting songs coming in, we thought that you know, each of them was the song for us, but it never felt right. So my buddy Josh, that’s signed to my publishing deal, he sent me a song called ‘Thank God’ and I listened to it and I fell in love with it. And then kept listening to it and kept listening to it.” Brown decided it should be a duet, and the rest is history. “So I asked Kate and Kate fell in love with the song, and now it’s one of my favorite songs,” he added.

Kane Brown recently released a high-energy new summer anthem, “2 Pair.” The track follows the release of his latest album, The High Road, which dropped in January 2025.
Following the success of the U.S. leg of his headlining The High Road Tour, where he headlined sold-out arenas in cities like Nashville, New York, Montreal, and more, Kane Brown is keeping the momentum going with a series of solo and festival performances this summer. He’ll then embark on the second leg of the tour, which will take him overseas to Europe and the United Kingdom.
