I’m A Celebrity star pulls out of live final just after Ant and Dec insist whole cast will be there

AN I’m A Celebrity star has pulled out of the live final – just moments after Ant and Dec insisted everyone would be there.

Beverley Callard took to Instagram this evening to confirm that she had been forced to drop out of taking part in the show’s live final in London on medical grounds.

The star was sadly diagnosed with cancer following her stint in the South African jungle and has been having treatment over the past few weeks.

Taking to Instagram, Bev admitted that doctors had confirmed it was unsafe for her to fly from her base in Ireland to London for the programme.

The ex-Corrie actress said: “Yesterday, I should have flown to Engalnd to get ready for the I’m A Celeb final.

“I was so excited and looking forward too it but on medical advice, I can’t go, I am gutted.

“I was dying to see them all and it would have been brilliant.

“I can’t go and yesterday, the flights were booked and everything but no, they said, it is basically too long a day with flying there and then a very late night [with filming].

“I will be watching.”

Offering up some good news, she added: “I will be on Zoom chatting to everyone!

“So I’ve got to make the best of a bad job but I am resting and I am doing as I am told.

“Thanks to everybody.”

Just moments before, hosts And and Dec nervously laughed off fears about the I’m A Celebrity reunion and insisted that all the cast would be there.

The South African All Star edition has been one of the most drama-filled editions in recent years.

Many of the cast of the ITV programme failed to see eye-to-eye with many feuds emerging on the show as well as after filming.

David Haye found himself locked in a war with Adam Thomas before the Waterloo Road actor found himself at the centre of one of the show’s biggest rows ever with Jimmy Bullard.

Sinitta and Gemma Collins have also been feuding since filming ended with Gemma accusing Sinitta of selling stories about the cast to the press.

Other stars including Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt have also hinted at rumbling cast feuds since leaving camp.

Prior to discovering Bev had pulled out, the Geordie duo insisted all twelve would be present.

Jimmy Bullard had previously refused to attend and has also not fulfilled any other promotional obligations for the programme.

But after being threatened with losing 20% of her overall fee, he appears to have had a change of heart.

Making light of the situation, Dec Donnelly said at the ITV showcase event: “We’ve got the live final tomorrow night, that is going to be interesting, we’re getting them all back together.

“Apparently they are all coming…

“They are all coming, we are not in the WhatAapp group, but we will see how it goes…”

Scarlett Moffatt was also in attendance at the industry event alongside Mo Farah and butted in to joke: “You don’t want to be!”
