King Charles hosts Australian PM
It’s been a busy couple of weeks of hosting for the royals.
Following Donald Trump’s highly anticipated state visit earlier this month, King Charles and Queen Camilla also had a visit from the Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, over the weekend.
The PM joined the king for a private audience at Balmoral on Saturday (September 27).
The visit also sparked speculation over whether trip to Australia might be on the cards for William and Kate.
Albanese reportedly told reporters: “I hope that the Prince and Princess of Wales are able to visit as well, and we are hopeful that might occur in the coming period.”
