A HEARTBROKEN mum of a missing student has made a desperate plea on the two-year anniversary of her son’s disappearance.
Catherine O’Sullivan says she has loved through the “most unimaginable pain” since Jack O’Sullivan, 24, vanished after attending a house party in Bristol.

The mother has launched a plea to the public for support on finding her son

Jack was last seen on March 2, 2024 after leaving a party in Hotwells, shortly before the last contact with Catherine.
In a heartbreaking new plea, the mum said: “With every day that passes, it just gets worse.
“It is incredibly hard to know that we’ve reached this point with no answers as to what’s happened and where Jack is.
“Thank you to all of the people that have supported us on this incredibly difficult journey.
“The most important thing has been, and always will be: where is Jack?”
The last known activity on the young man’s phone was at 6.44am – not long after texting his mum that he was getting a taxi home.
When he failed to return home the next morning his family contacted the police.
A number of CCTV cameras picked up Jack’s whereabouts as he was last seen walking near The Cumberland Basin – near Bristol Harbour.
Much of the police’s efforts have been based on the theory that Jack fell into the water – despite searches never finding his body.
Catherine said in an interview last year that she had lost faith in the police, and that vital CCTV clues had been missed.
The family are still struggling to come to terms with his disappearance, and have asked people to keep Jack in the forefront of their minds.
A Facebook group with over 100,000 thousand members has been providing the public with consistent updates on Jack’s location.
As his family are still searching for answers, they are urging the public to think back to that date for any information or sightings that may have been forgotten.

There is a current ongoing investigation to find Jack and bring him home safely.
Assistant Chief Constable Joanne Hall from Avon and Somerset Police said: “As we reach the second anniversary of Jack O’Sullivan going missing, I wholeheartedly recognise the devastating impact his disappearance continues to have on his loved ones.
“We know how difficult it is for Jack’s family that, despite extensive enquiries, we have not yet been able to find him or provide the conclusive answers they so desperately need.”
Avon and Somerset Police still hope to find Jack, stating that he has been at the heart of every decision they have made.
Hall said: “Alongside our ongoing investigation, we have also drawn on specialist expertise and independent agencies to review, test and assure our work, ensuring that any further opportunities for enquiry are fully explored.
“At every stage we have been led by the evidence and pursued the relevant lines of enquiry.
“It’s important to stress that this remains a live investigation. If anyone has information that could assist our enquiries, please contact us online through our website, or call 101, quoting reference number 5224055172.”
